I was once again honored by the session evaluation team for PASS Summit to be chosen to speak this year at Seattle. I’m super excited as I will be doing my Professional Development presentation on Becoming a Master! There’s still plenty of time to sign up for Summit, but hurry up as it’s only going to get more expensive and harder to find lodging.
You can sign up right here: PASS Data Community Summit November 15-18 2022
There is no question that speaking in front of people is a little scary, a lot exciting, but the best feeling is when there are lots of questions and lots of follow up by the attendees to your presentation. I’ll be speaking at the same time as so many other wonderful speakers in the Data Community, but I hope you’ll take the time to come have a conversation with me and the other attendees about PASSing on Knowledge!
Why should you PASS on your knowledge? There are lots of good reasons, but it’s important to use your life to help other people. You only get one chance, so why not do some good in the world. We’re all out there in this big crazy world trying to find our path. It makes a big difference to have some help along the way. By working with your friends and colleagues, you can help them solve issues, deal with challenges in life, and hopefully they will be enabled and enlightened to help other people!
My new Swedish friends taught me about Fika, which essentially is a mandatory coffee break to enable knowledge sharing and build team work. It’s a simple concept, but once you appreciate it, you’ll look forward to the opportunity to solve the little and big problems in life. I’m looking forward to seeing you and all of my Data friends at Summit. Feel free to grab me at the conference to talk about anything…
