PASS, the organization we all know and love (and sometimes not love so much) has come to an end. I am not going to say anymore that has not already been said other than that I treasure all of my friends and experiences I have gained through PASS and look forward to the next chapter.
Ironically enough, the day before the announcement was made, my co-president for Oregon Data Community, Jessica Aguilar, and I had a social for all of the PNW data groups to set a goal to work together as one group. It was well received. We’re going to work together and pool our resources and many talents to make it easier for us in this virtual world. It’s still a work in progress, but we have such talented people that I think we have a really good shot!
I believe the official name is the PNW Data Coalition. We are going to work together to share data topics with the general population to keep our groups strong, yet still maintain our individual identities.
